How to get your interval data

It's your data and you're entitled to it — your retailer will send it, usually free, within a few business days.

1. Find your NMI. It's the National Metering Identifier on your electricity bill — a 10–11 digit number, often labelled "NMI".
2. Email your retailer. Ask for your half-hourly (interval) consumption data for the last 12 months, in CSV or spreadsheet format. Use the template below.
3. Wait a few business days. They'll email the file back — usually a CSV.
4. Upload it here. Drop the file into the interval-data box and you're done. (You can submit now and send it through when it arrives.)

I'd like to request my detailed interval (half-hourly) electricity consumption data for the last 12 months.

Please send it in CSV or spreadsheet format. I understand I'm entitled to my own metering data under the National Energy Retail Rules.
