We use three tools:
On our UK site, the Meta Pixel and Google Ads cookies only load if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you decline, they don't run. You can change your mind by clearing your browser storage for this site. Essential cookies needed for the site to work are always on.
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the audit, each under their own data-protection terms:
Some of these providers process data outside your country. Where data leaves the UK/EU, it's protected by appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
We keep your audit and the personal data behind it for up to 2 years, after which it is automatically and permanently deleted from our systems. You can ask us to delete it sooner (see your rights below).
You can ask us at any time to:
Email info@theenergyauditco.com and we'll action it, usually within 30 days.
UK: if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Australia: you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Your data is stored in secured, access-controlled systems. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach us.
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above shows when. Material changes will be reflected here.
